A Summer Country Wedding @ Entwistle County

In Entwistle County, Alberta on a sunny July day, this couple and their family came together in a park-like setting by the lake for their wedding day. I absolutely love the First Look Photos, and of course, the lakeside ceremony made for beautiful Wedding Photographs. There were lots of laughs as I took family photos before the clouds came in and chased us away from the lake. We moved our remaining Couples Portraits out to the family’s land. This was the most fun non-traditional wedding I was able to photograph this summer, and it reminded me how much I love being a wedding photographer for every style of wedding. These photographs show all the love between the couple and their families (dogs included!) and also showcase the natural settings they love. Truly beautiful!

June weddings are so beautiful, and this wedding was truly dream-like! Our beautiful couple wed at the Chateau Louis Hotel and Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. The bride looked like an absolute queen with her blue tiara and matching bouquet and nails. Her dress was just stunning, and she truly glowed as she sang to her handsome groom. It was such a beautiful ceremony! I absolutely love being a Wedding Photographer and being able to capture these special moments for my clients.

In April 2024 one of my Engagement Photography clients chose Wolf Ravine Bridge and Yorath House in Edmonton, Alberta for their photography session. The bride-to-be had a fun and bubbly personality and the couple was so easy to work with! They had two changes of outfits giving them photos that are both casual and formal. I love how their photos express their love for each other, this is one of the best parts of being an Engagement & Wedding Photographer!

In December 2023 I had so much fun doing a Styled Engagement Shoot in the Snow! Edmonton didn’t have a lot of snow yet that year so I was so fortunate to be able to have the background We wanted for this day! We were at the Alberta Legislature grounds in Edmonton for a two part shoot. It was surprisingly less cold than expected, and the couple had a lovely afternoon picnic with a sparkling apple juice toast followed by an evening shoot with the Christmas lights - so pretty!

Let’s take it back to Autumn 2022; at which point I was still in school at NAIT. This was a styled mini session portrait assignment, and was one of my very first sessions with a couple. - The real life love of this couple is evident in the photographs & I absolutely LOVED the whole vibe of the session! To make it all the more special, during the editing process I was informed that the couple was now actually engaged, and our session had only foreshadowed reality! To make things even more exciting; images from this session were featured in IKON Magazine!
